It’s about T-minus three days before school starts again. I know you don’t want to think about life past the holidays, but you need this helpful info:
- Open a Twitter account ASAP if you don’t have one. We will use Twitter the first day of class.
- You’ll also need a notebook and a pen because you won’t take notes on your laptop. We do some things the old-fashioned way.
- For those who have class in the 107 J-Building (T/TH at the crack of dawn), you’ll need a laptop for in-class work. Those in South Hall (M/W) will use the desktops.
- The syllabus has textbook information and what you need for class. Check out the link to the syllabus page. I’ll have copies for you at the start of class. The textbook and AP Stylebook are mandatory. You can’t share with someone in your section, and you won’t make a B without these.
- You will absolutely love AP Style and grammar. Not. really. But, you should begin your dating relationship with these two now. Check out the resources by clicking on the AP Style/Grammar Page link.
