I wanted to remind you of our absence and digital pass policies for MC2010. We reviewed these in class, and you signed a contract indicating you understood and agreed.

Just in case you forgot, here’s what you should know:

• Work for a class missed because of a university-approved absence is due typed and printed the next class period. No exceptions. If you are having trouble, it’s important to talk to me as soon as possible.
• Worked missed with a digital pass is due typed and printed at the start of the next class period. Sign and attach the digital pass to your work.
• Quizzes missed with a university-approved absence must be made up no longer than a week later. Make arrangements with Dill to make up the quizzes you missed.
• Quizzes missed with a digital pass may not be made up; however, you won’t be penalized for missing the quiz. You won’t receive a grade in that blank.

You are responsible for taking care of work in a timely manner. Otherwise, it’s not fair to the rest of the class who did the work and moved on.

Don’t send an email late the night before an assignment is due to ask questions. I may not see this. Also, I sometimes turn off my emails on the weekend, so take care of business by the end of the day on Friday.
